SBI-Probationary Officer (PO)-2021


SBI PO 2021 Notification will be released soon on the official website of State Bank of India @www.sbi.co.in. Every year lakhs of candidates apply for the post of SBI PO which increased the cut-throat competition in the country for Probationary Officer posts. The SBI PO Recruitment process is comprised of the following three stages.

Category wise merit list will be drawn based on the aggregate marks scored in each stage of the SBI PO Exam. A candidate has to clear the cut-off set by the Bank Officials for the final recruitment as SBI PO. SBI PO 2021 Vacancy

The vacancy for SBI PO 2021 will be released along with the notification tentatively in the month of March 2021. For the previous year, i.e. 2020 a total of 2000 vacancies were released, have a look at the category-wise vacancy of the previous year.

SBI PO 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Any candidate applying for SBI PO must fulfil the eligibility criteria which includes fulfilment of the following:

Age Limit:

The minimum age limit for a candidate to apply for the SBI examination is 21 years old but not more than 30 years old at the time of registration. Besides this, there is age relaxation relevant to category wise candidates as per the government norms.

Nationality

1- The candidates must hold Indian Citizenship.
2- A Subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
3- A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement.
4- A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India.
Note: Candidates belonging to the category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt of India in their favour.

Educational Qualification

A candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Final Year/Semester candidates can also apply only if they produce proof of their graduation on the date of the interview.

SBI PO Interview

Candidates qualifying in the objective and descriptive test will be called for a group exercise & interview.
1- The SBI PO Group Exercises will be of 20 marks while the Interview will be of 30 marks. Thus, making it a total of 50 Marks.
2- Qualification/ qualifying marks in the group exercise and interview is decided by the Bank. Aggregate marks will decide the qualification after which they will be arranged in descending order in each category.
3- Only the marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II), both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in GE & Interview (Phase-III) for preparing the final merit list.
4- The candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-II and Phase-III separately.
