UGC NET 2019 schedule has been released by NTA for the posts of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The UGC NET 2019 online form will begin from 1st March 2019. The last date to apply online for UGC NET is 30th March 2019. The UGC NET 2019 will be held in multiple sessions on 20th, 21st, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th June 2019. You can download the admit card from 15th May 2019.
UGC NET is a two-stage selection process conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Both the papers of UGC NET are qualifying in nature. Candidates who wish to apply for the next session must go through the details pertaining to UGC NET 2019 exam such as tentative date schedule, application form, eligibility criteria, selection process, exam pattern, etc.

In order to apply online for UGC NET 2019, you need to access the official website. It is advised to meet the eligibility conditions before filling the application form. If eligible, you can refer to the prescribed steps to apply online.
Step 1: Once the application process is live, you can find the direct link to the ‘Registration Form’ on this page.
Step 2: After successful registration, you will be assigned ‘Application Number’. Make sure you memorize it or store it safely.
Step 3: Next, login using the assigned details to proceed with the application process.
Step 4: Upload scanned copies of your ‘passport size photograph’ and ‘signature’ in prescribed file size, dimensions, and file format (preferably JPG/JPEG format).
Step 5: In the payment gateway, pay the requisite application fee through online or offline mode.
Step 6: After a successful payment, you will receive a confirmation message to your registered email address and mobile number.
Step 7: Take out at least 4 printouts of the ‘confirmation page’ and keep it secured for future reference.
National Eligibility Test is a computer-based examination and consists of two papers. Both the papers are qualifying in nature and take place on the same day. No marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. Know more about the UGC NET exam pattern below:
