RBI ASSISTANT EXAM 2019

RBI Assistant 2019 Notification

In the year 2017, the Reserve Bank of India the notification for the recruitment of RBI Assistants in the month of October and the examinations for the recruitment process were conducted in November and December 2017. Although RBI did not release the notification for the recruitment of Assistants last year, it is expected to be released in October or November this year.

RBI Assistant 2019 Exam Dates

In the year 2017, the prelims examination was conducted in the month of October and the mains examination was conducted in the month of December. Although RBI did not release vacancies in the year 2018, the dates of RBI Assistant 2019 Prelims and Mains Examinations are expected to fall in November and December.

RBI Assistant Admit Card 2019

The admit cards for the prelims and mains examinations will be released at least 15 days before these examinations are conducted. The link will be provided here as soon as the call letters for the examination are out.

RBI Assistant 2019 Vacancies

In the year 2017, the number of vacancies for the post of RBI Assistant was 623. The bank releases the vacancies as per the requirement in the bank and we will get an update regarding the same as soon as this year's notification is out.

RBI Assistant Selection Procedure

As per the recruitments held previously, the selection is done through online examinations that will be followed by a language proficiency test in one's local/official language.

  • Online Preliminary Examination (Objective Test)
  • Online Mains Examination (Objective Test)
  • Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

The final selection was made on the basis of candidate's performance in the online mains examination and LPT is only qualifying in nature.

  • Note: One will not be selected for the post if she fails the language proficiency test no matter how much she has scored in the preliminary or mains examination.

RBI Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2019

In the year 2017 when RBI Assistant notification was last released, candidates were required to be in the age group of 20-28 years as on 1st of October 2017 and also, it was necessary for them to be a graduate in any discipline with at least 50% marks. This year, the eligibility criteria to apply for the post of RBI Assistant are expected to remain the same. Rest depends on the notification and we will update the information here as soon as the official notification for the recruitment process is out.

RBI Assistant 2019 Exam Pattern

In the year 2017, the examination was conducted in two stages, i.e. Online Preliminary and Mains Examination (both objective) and the pattern was as follows:

Every year, some or the other changes are introduced in the pattern of banking examination so one cannot be sure if the pattern will remain the same or change. We can only wait for this year's official notification to know what's there this time.
